Rob Rathbone M.IPSA

Rob left school and worked for a couple of local security systems companies from the age of 16, where he completed his security and emergency systems apprenticeship before heading to a company down south, training teams of installation engineers all over the country.

Rob moved to Knutsford Home Guard in 2003, bringing a wealth of varied and additional experience to the company, immediately introducing new skills and technologies to bring the business up to date. Shortly after, Rob purchased the business from the previous owners with two of the other technicians, subsequently buying them both out, and took the helm of what is now KHG Security Ltd

With a huge interest in technology Rob is always at the forefront of new developments in the industry, and is involved in product testing for manufacturers, helping to bring the best products to market and offering support to other installers.

Rob’s depth of knowledge and extensive contacts in the industry mean that whatever is required by a customer can be delivered, with bespoke and integrated systems a speciality - You’ll also find him running our social media channels, spreading the #smartsecure™️ message across the internet.

King of customer service and described as “tremendously friendly and likeable and everything you expect in a consummate professional” Rob is known for going above and beyond for every single KHG customer, and makes sure everyone knows how valued they are to us.

Often first to arrive at work and last to leave, when asked about his spare time, Rob simply replied “Spare what?”
